Lydney Triathlon 9th May 2010

Race Two of the summer sprint series brings us to Whitecross Leisure centre in Lydney.

With round one a distant memory the action hots up with an action packed race. Taking in the edge of the Forest of Dean, this is our 4th year at Lydney and not only do we get many return athletes, many more are choosing this event as their first.

Lydney Sprint

Comprising of a 400m swim, 20km bike ride and 5km run, round two of the series should see who our contenders for this year may be. Although not a flat bike course, we see year after year, fast times produced over it. With a flat fast 5km run within the grounds to finish, this is an ideal opportunity to stretch the legs early in the season.

Lydney Triathlon is now in its 5th Year. It was the first triathlon that Black Sheep Sports organised and is also the first triathlon that many athletes choose to start their Triathlon Adventure.
