Forest of Dean Trail Series

The Scott Aztec trail series has been taking place for a number of years now and has become a permanent date in many local runners calendar.

Offering the following distances,

5.4km = 1 lap

10.4km = 2 Laps

15.4km = 3 Laps

Means that there is something for everyone.

Race Series

Points will be awarded in each of the 3 races.

1000 points for the winner of the 5.4km race – other positions gain points on a percentage of entries.

1250 points for the winner of the 10.4km race – other positions gain points on a percentage of entries.

1500 points for the winner of the 15.4km race – other positions gain points on a percentage of entries.

The overall series winners – Those athletes with the most points will receive the following prizes.

1st Male / female = Scott Aztec Pro trail running shoes

2nd Male / female = Scott Aztec trail running shoes

3rd Male / female = Scott running top

Please note – athletes must have competed in all 3 events to be eligible for awards

Situated in the Heart of the Forest is Mallards Pike. This Picturesque part of the Forest of Dean is a great venue for trail running and offers athletes the opportunity to run on some great trails. These events are suitable for all abilities from the complete novice, through to the seasoned athlete.
